The boyz needed their ride, so I finished this trukk up. It was mostly finished, so I only needed to add detail and weathering:

Ard Boyz Unit 2
The kids are now old enough to actually be involved in things, and since they are my priority everything else took a back seat. I did manage to get 12 Boyz done, and they only took 4 months!

Painting Diversion: Ard Boyz Unit 1
Man, it's been a while. Lots of family and personal stuff going on so hobby took a back seat. I was actually burnt out on the builds, so I took some time off and started cleaning my office. Once I reclaimed my paining desk I figured I'd work on a unit. I took a couple of weeks (due the aformentioned real life stuff) but I got a unit of Trukk Boyz done:

Hot Rod Battlewagon 3 on hold. Hot Rod Battlewagon 4 on the production line
So as I was building this guy I realized I'm just not happy with it, at least as a battlewagon. A bit too small, and the general direction isn't as pleasing as I'd like. So I'm placing the project on hold. Instead I'm spinning up another wagon.
This wagon will be 'Ard Cased, but the same look as the previous two. Here's the hull so far:

Hot Rod Battlewagon 3 Part 2
Right.
More utility today than anything. I wanted to incorporate the copious numbers of extra trukk axles I have, mostly to use them up. The differential does look cool though, so no worries there. The only issue they are designed for the trukk chassis, and mine is a bit wider. So choppy chop!

Hot Rod Battlewagon 3 Part 1
No rest for the weary. I'm going to OFCC in July so I now have a deadline. I have a rough list and I need at least one more Battlewagon. So today I layed down the frame:
This wagon will be a little bit shorter than the last, mainly because that's the room I have in my foam tray for my bag. This guy will have an offset chassis to accommodate the larger back wheels.
The frame itself is some Evergreen rectangular tube.

Hot Rod Battlewagon 2 part 5
I'm still fairly new to magnetizing my stuff, but I'm really liking it on my battlewagons so far. I can change up loadouts, easily show destroyed weapons and most importantly store my stuff easier.
Let me show how I built this iteration of mag-gunz.
My goal is to get a post like this:

Hot Rod Battlewagon 2 part 4
So I got on a run of building and didn't really get in any WIP shots. All I really did though was lay out parts from my loose bits box that looked like they'd work together, then cut, mashed, forced, glued and swore my way into this point in the build:

Hot Rod Battlewagon 2 Part 3
The next big bit was to get the cab built. After much monkey work ended up matching what I did on the previous wagon using the wagon prow as the roof:
This go around I decided to use up as many truck and wagon bits I have in by bitsbox, as it's pretty full. Note the cut down truck windscreen here:
On to the bed. I spliced an ork truck bed plate with two battlewagon bed panels:
These are upcycled bits from some cutup kits I got in a trade. Rather then tear it up even more I just worked around the parts, using them as beat I could:
And bed on frame! At least I have a playable model now, even if it's not finished:

Boss Nobz Quick Hit
Hidee Ho eveyrone! It's been a while but I didn't really have much to post so rather than blather I figured I'd wait till I have something to show. I have projects on the table but I've been spending more time playing games with the family and having tons of fun. I did manage to get some ork boyz built (nothing exciting) and realized I needed some appropriate Boss Nobz for them, so I bashed these guys out. I used normal sized boys heads for a bit of variety plus they seem to match the units better. Otherwise I just used the Nob kit and piled on the gubbinz:
Don't pizz ov da Bosses!
