Everyone is pimping sumthin, and so am I! I wanted some neato mission based objectives for 40k, one mission in particular. Then I figured if I wanted something like this then maybe others would too. So I'm introducing these points based objectives:

Bits Review- Paulson Games
So I ordered some bits from Paulson Games http://www.paulsongames.com. I'm working on a generic Space Capitol Ship rules set and wanted to build some custom ships. They are really weapons meant for mecha, such as Tau Crisis suits, but I liked their look and placed an order.
Packaging: Bagged and bubble wrapped, in a box. No cheap envelopes here.

Old School - Eldar Objectives & Messengers
Hey! An article! Who knew? Welcome to the first Old School, where I dredge up a project from the past. A very long time ago, around 2001, 3rd edition was all the rage. I had an Eldar Saim-Hann army, all jetbikey and fast. It was fully converted and finished. And it sucked. I went something like 2-21 with it before I rage traded it away. At the same time the concept of objectives were appearing in missions. I of course just had to make some. I was digging through some storage when I found these. I guess I forgot to send them on their way so many moons ago...
Objective #1-Downed pilot
A pretty straight forward build, mostly repositioning and cutting really.

Skarboyz - Complete
Got the Skarboyz complete:
The "regular" boyz are AoBR Nobz. The sheilds are a combination of scratchbuild and trukk bits that I seem to have an excess of. They have either a slugga or choppa in their hand with the opposite weapon slung on their back. I beefed up their shoulders with additional plates. Next up is the kustom trukk...

Skarboyz Part 2
I managed to sneak in a little bit of building, despite Nurgle's best attempt to "bless" me.
I wanted a Boss in the Skarboys. In game terms he'll be the one with the Bosspole, but I wanted him to be bigger than the others, so out comes the AoBR Boss. I cut into his shoulders to narrow him a bit and used normal Nob arms:

Skarboyz Part 1
I wanted a relatively low cost hard as nails melee unit I could torpedo into an enemy and let them run amok. I'm a big fan of the older ork history and it stuck me that what I wanted were Skarboyz, ork veterans if you will. Nothing direct in the codex, but after perusing the entries I noticed Nobz would fit the bill. But how to keep them cheap? Since the are a fire and forget unit more to shove in somebodies face and not worry about them surviving I decided to keep the upgrades simple, Heavy Armor (more modeling opportunities) and some power klaws along with a "Boss" (he'll be bigger and have a boss pole). Stuff them in a trukk and launch away. But how to model them? I already have two 'Uge Warbosses. I have multiple copies of the AoBR Warboss setaside for Mega Armor conversions, so that leaves the AoBR Nobz. I've got a bunch so off I go!
So I need to turn this pile a mediocre models into something Ded 'Ard. Let's see...

Trukk #3- Complete
Not much to say on the completion. I added the Big Shoota and the exhaust. I also took the Dremel to the trukk to make nice and lived in:
